Budgets
The Executive Board investigates, prepares, and approves the budget for the following fiscal year while administering, appropriating the current year’s funds.
The budgeting process for the Rensselaer Union occurs every fall for the next fiscal year. Executive Board representatives meet with their respective clubs to guide them through the budgeting process and are charged with representing their clubs within the budgeting rooms. Alongside the club budgeting process, facilities and other administrative expenses are budgeted for the Union. All information is accounted for in the Union Annual Report, and ultimately the Executive Board recommends an amount for the Student Activity Fee, which is confirmed by the Student Senate. The Union Annual Report for the Fiscal Year 2027 (from July 1st 2026 to June 30 2027) can be found here.
